Its been some time, but remember the A/B post?




A won!
Not by a great margin, but a win is after all a win!
So I decided to make brooches with my little crochet roses. And added little tatted and crystal adornments.

I'm gonna use up all my stones and crystals!





It's pretty interesting and rewarding though! I make one to match what I'm wearing everyday!!!! ;)

Crochet bracelets

Learnt to do the flat Turkish crochet today and made two bracelets.
Clear and Blue
Black and Silver
Wore them today with my blue saree.
I like the look of these bracelets. So easy and fast to make and delightfully bright to wear.
I'm off to making some more with beads, crystals and stones. Lets see. I'll keep you posted.

Tatting Day

Happy Tatting Day to all my friends in TatLand!

Made this little tatted bouquet today
( actually yesterday, put it together today!)
The flower is simple rings, no joins, nothing. But the leaves are 'special', if I may call them that!
Well, I tried making leaves, in one go, and thought of using Single Shuttle Split Rings. All three are done differently, going up then down, or going up and up, if you know what I mean.
There must be, infact are, better ways to make leaves, but I thought of this.
