Finally...

I decided upon the mobile for my car.
It's the RED & BLACK motif
done with red and gold beads
and
finished up with some decoupage glue.
.

.
The glue has given it a nice stiffness and shine.
(it's the 1st time I've tried it on my tatting)
There has been so much fog
for the past 10 days or so,
we've hardly had any sunshine through-out the day.
Yesterday it opened up
and the sunshine through the mobile looked beautiful.

Happy New Year

Happy new year to all!
I've had a wonderful start to my new year..
My Hubby Darling gifted me a
CAR
I had been driving around in my
Matiz
for nearly 10 years.
Now I have a Brand New
HONDA JAZZ
.

.

.

.

.

.
I've even replaced the original tyres for the wow looking
alloy wheels with wider and taller tyres.
I LOVE IT.
THANK YOU VICKY
.
Now I'm dying to make something for it
Something to hang inside....
Yes,
It has to be tatting!
It undeniably has to look like my car!
Maybe this...
.

.
or this...
.

.
or...
.

.
It definitely has to be in
red and black.
Whenever and whatever I finalize on
I'll keep you updated.
.

.
Have so much more to talk about.....
Sometime later though!
Till then....
LOVE and PEACE

Lilly of the valley.....

Red and warm and beautiful....
.

.
Based on
The Lilly of the valley Opera Gloves
.

 pattern in
.

Highly modified the pattern to fit my arms and hands
also cut off the fingers and converted them to mittens!
.

.
The Bobbles are also replaced by nupps....
(The real lilly of the valley pattern)

.
Nowhere near the original but I love them!
Doesn't the pattern look like a row of inverted hearts?
.

And oh, yes...
.
HAPPY NEW YEAR
